Using Google Calendar


Adding Events.
Events are items on your calendar.  They can be set to let you know when you need to do something. Your teachers can add items with deadlines to Google Classroom, which will add things to your calendar with the deadline.

Adding Notifications.
Notifications are things that add prompts your device for your attention.  An event that has notifications added will pop up on your device, or send you an email.

Adding your friends to calendar events
This allows you to share an event with others.  The other user has to accept it to add it to their calendar.  This may be helpful for group tasks.

Syncing your smartphone, iPod, or tablet with Google Calendar can keep you organized.

You can make events on your Calendar on your Chromebook, and it will flow onto other devices.

Some set up is necessary to receive notifications on your device.
